WayneWayne Floyd, Esquire

Wayne has practiced law for 42 years.

Graduated from Furman University in 1966 Cum laude and from University of South Carolina School of Law in 1974 Cum laude, where he was a member of South Carolina Law Review and the Order of Wig and Robe Honorary Society.  Wayne has a General Practice with particular emphasis on Criminal Law, Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation.  He has handled over 15,000 legal matters in his career including over 3, 000 Driving under the Influence cases. His Criminal Law Practice ranges from Driving under the Influence to murder cases including Death Penalty matters.  He has appeared on Larry King Live, Phil Donahue show and Inside Edition in connection with his legal practice Wayne served two years active duty in the US army, including 1 year Vietnam and 3 years in the reserves, retiring as a Captain.  He also served 3 years as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

MichelleMichelle M. Wash

Is the Office Manager and Criminal Law Paralegal and she has been employed with the firm for over 19 years.  Prior to that she was employed with the Lexington County Public Defender’s Office for 2 years.  She is responsible for opening all the criminal files, interviewing potential witnesses and performing legal research.  She is also responsible for preparing legal documents in connection with criminal matters, coordinating discovery and evidence preparation and assisting in trial preparation.  She is also responsible for maintaining calendars and coordinating scheduling conflicts.

HarrietHarriet H. Clamp

Is the Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation Paralegal.  She has worked for various Law Firms for over 40 years, the last 9 years with Wayne Floyd Law Office.  She is responsible for opening and maintaining all Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation files including the collection of all evidence and medical records and preparation of settlement packages.

Rebecca T. Burr

Is the firm bookkeeper and Probate Paralegal.  She has been employed with Wayne Floyd Law Office for over 2 years and prior to that she worked in accounting for over 10 years with corporations and school districts.  She is responsible for maintaining financial records and accounts payable and is responsible for preparing all documents in connection with Probate matters.
